Rekorder is an award-winning creative agency and production house based in Berlin, working internationally across film, photography, and visual storytelling. With a strong roster of directors and artists, Rekorder is known for bold creative output and fast, high-quality productions.
The existing website no longer reflected the energy, clarity, or quality of their work. I was tasked with redesigning Rekorder’s digital presence to better showcase their talent, strengthen their identity, and create a platform that is easy to update and built to scale.
The Challenge
Create a clear, modern digital system that highlights Rekorder’s creative output and talent — while improving usability, performance, and flexibility for a fast-paced agency environment.
The Approach
Redesign the website around a modular, content-first system that prioritizes visual impact and clarity. The new structure places directors and projects at the forefront, supported by strong typography, motion, and rhythm inspired by Rekorder’s cinematic language. The system was designed to be easily expandable and adaptable as new work and talent are added.
The Result
A bold, streamlined website that elevates Rekorder’s digital presence, makes their talent and work more accessible, and reflects the agency’s confident, contemporary identity. The new platform supports ongoing updates, clearer navigation, and a stronger first impression for clients and collaborators.
Final Remarks
Working with Rekorder provided valuable experience collaborating with a highly skilled creative team and translating high-end film and photography work into a clear, scalable digital and social presence. The project strengthened my ability to support established creative outputs through structured digital systems and consistent storytelling.
